Job description

ABOUT OVERCAST DIGITAL:
OverCast Digital is a leading triple-certified TikTok Shop Partner based in Irvine, CA. We specialize in providing comprehensive solutions for rising social commerce channels, including strategy, affiliate management, and LIVE shopping. Our dedicated team works to shape TikTok into a vibrant community of inspiration and influence, with a network of top content creators and affiliates leading the charge. At OverCast Digital, we believe that the future of commerce is social.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Account Manager to own day-to-day execution for a portfolio of TikTok Shop accounts - client communication, Seller Center monitoring, and performance reporting - while working under a Senior Account Manager's account strategy.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized communicator with a strong grasp of social commerce and hands-on TikTok Shop experience, comfortable managing multiple client accounts and coordinating across a cross-functional team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Client Communication Ownership
  • Own day-to-day communications for assigned accounts, responding within agreed SLAs and maintaining a professional, proactive tone.
  • Send proactive updates, confirm next steps, and flag blockers before they become client-facing problems.

Meeting Agendas & Recaps
  • Own the weekly client agenda from preparation through delivery, ensuring data and linked docs are current before internal review and the call itself.
  • Document action items live during meetings and send clean, client-ready recaps with owners, due dates, and decisions on the same day.

Daily Seller Center Monitoring
  • Serve as the primary owner of Seller Center execution for assigned accounts - shop health, listings, pricing, promos, campaign registrations, inventory, fulfillment, and CS flags - every morning.
  • Escalate anything resembling a violation, listing suppression, or pricing/promo mismatch immediately.

Performance Reporting
  • Pull and validate performance data (GMV, orders, traffic, CVR, AOV, and promo performance) and turn it into a clear point of view.
  • Tie metrics to likely drivers - promos, creators, content, LIVE, inventory, or shop health - rather than reporting numbers alone.

Affiliate Performance & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Read and summarize affiliate performance data as part of holistic account reporting, routing affiliate strategy questions to the Senior AM or affiliate function.
  • Coordinate with Shop Ops on execution support, with Paid Media on GMV Max boosting, and with Affiliate on data requests.

Escalation & Ownership
  • Flag blockers, unknowns, and risks internally as soon as they're identified - ideally well before they become a client-facing issue.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and self-serve using existing resources before escalating.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Experience
  • At least 1+ year of hands-on TikTok Shop management experience.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field, preferably in digital marketing, e-commerce, or social media.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing and interpreting performance metrics.

Desired Experience
  • Work experience at TikTok (the platform/company) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok Shop and social commerce trends.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Location
  • Based in Irvine, CA.

WHAT YOU GET
Benefits
  • 401K
  • Health Insurance
  • 10 Days of PTO (increases with tenure) plus Holidays
  • Flexible Work Hours
