They have a vast knowledge of pumping equipment and the applications they are used in. The employees have experience from Original Equipment Manufacturers, motor shops, contractors, machine shops and other rotating equipment repair facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES"
  • Serving as the primary on-site leader for the Controls Department, overseeing daily
    operations across engineering, field service, panel shop, and inside sales
    Managing workflow, workload distribution, and scheduling across all four subdepartments to ensure projects and customer commitments are met
  • Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks before they escalate, and developing
    repeatable processes to prevent recurrence
  • Providing direct supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to department
    employees, many of whom have been promoted into their current roles as the company
    has grown
  • Acting as the primary point of escalation for internal issues so that the VP of Controls
    can remain focused on business development and strategic priorities
  • Coordinating with other departments (pump sales, pump repair, field service) to ensure
    cross-functional alignment on shared customer projects
  • Tracking key department metrics - project status, lead times, open orders, and service
    commitments - and reporting regularly to the VP of Controls
  • Establish accountability for performance, deadlines, and quality
    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 6+ years of experience in an operations, project management, or department
    management role, ideally in an industrial, electrical, or engineered-products
    environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams across multiple functional areas
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and keep multiple workstreams on track simultaneously
  • A natural problem-solver who takes ownership, follows through, and brings calm and clarity to a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment - prior experience with control panels, VFDs, electrical systems, or the water/wastewater industry is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with project management or operations tools (experience with Smartsheet, ERP systems, or similar platforms is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills - you will be the connective tissue between frontline staff and senior leadership

LOCATION & SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, on-site position at our Griffin, GA facility. Regular in-office presence is required.
