POSITION OVERVIEW
The customer service representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to Synchrony Lab customers. Duties will include direct contact with Synchrony Lab customers and vendors, including the lab courier service. Such contact is often of a sensitive nature and requires the use of sound judgement, discretion and courtesy at all time.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provides customer service in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicates results as needed to Laboratory clients: clearly, accurately, and effectively.
  • Serves as a resource to Synchrony Lab customers for test requirements, specimen submission, and other laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Communicates directly with lab courier service concerning the transportation of specimens and supplies.
  • Answers and directs all phone calls and fax transmissions, in regards to patient inquiries, courier logistics, and service issues.
  • Handles complaints, provides appropriate solutions and alternatives according to Synchrony Lab policies and procedures and follows up to ensure resolution.
  • Keeps work surfaces clean and orderly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School / GED
    Experience: 0-1 years

Licenses and Certifications
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
