Description Forklift Trainer in Whitestown, IN
M-F: 8AM - 5PM

The Forklift Trainer in Whitestown, IN will help ensure that our local talent have proper instruction on various forklifts and EPJs. In addition to preparing talent for certifications, the Forklift Instructor will help oversee the performance and safety of Employbridge talent.

The PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Trainer will:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing our applicants and clients with outstanding customer service
  • Lead the forklift certification process for our hourly warehouse associates
  • Maintain and ensure ProLogistix SOPs and training requirements are met
  • Help oversee the employment of hourly associates at different client sites
  • Maintain timekeeping and reporting functions
  • Coach and counsel associates on performance and attendance
  • Travel between our branch office and local customer sites as needed

  • Foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation and a culture of workplace safety


Successful Profile for a PIT Trainer:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years with experience on a Cherry Picker, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, and Sit-Down Forklift (experience within the last 5 years)
  • Formal Power Industrial Training (i.e. Train the Trainer)
  • Clear verbal communication and comfort level speaking to groups
  • Understanding of basic warehouse functions including shipping/receiving, order pulling, ticketing/tagging, kitting, packing
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and the ability to learn new systems
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Ability to travel between our branch office and customer locations
