Hours:                 12:00 p.m. to Finish
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately select products from designated locations using order sheets or electronic devices (in the freezer, cooler as well as out of freezer and cooler).
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyance.
  • Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as Electric and Non Electric forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area: Clean boxes, sweep, break boxes as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order discrepancies or issues.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good physical condition; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work till picking is completed.
