Job Location Province: ON

Working Arrangement: Work only at the employer site except Friday are half days and work from home

Hours per Week (35–40 hrs/wk): 37.5

Job Description:

Position Overview – Project Associate for Building Science and Restoration Team

The Project Associate provides essential support for engineering projects, focusing on data collection, documentation, and coordination. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals starting their career in engineering and seeking to develop technical and project management skills.

As part of this position you will be in the building science and restoration department. Work project types range from smaller jobs like condition assessments and leak investigations to larger projects such as the full design, tender, and construction management of large scale building restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities Data Collection and Analysis
  • Perform site visits to collect measurements, photographs, and field data.
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing data for use in engineering designs and reports.
Documentation
  • Draft preliminary project documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all documents are organized and accessible in accordance with company standards.
Project Coordination
  • Assist Project Engineers and Leads in scheduling meetings and tracking progress.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and team members to relay updates.
Learning and Development
  • Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Shadow senior team members to gain exposure to various aspects of engineering projects.
Benefits
  • We allow 2 weeks of vacation during the 12 – month term, but it is unpaid.
  • Every week we do Friday half days that are work from home.
  • Role is a combo of both site and office work.
