Job Title: Plumbing Designer

About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Plumbing Designers to join a growing engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality, efficient designs and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will contribute to a variety of projects across residential, commercial, institutional, and light industrial markets, with strong opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design efficient and cost-effective plumbing systems for multi-family, commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities.
  • Design and draft residential and commercial plumbing systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Select, size, schedule, and specify plumbing system components, including fixtures, drains, piping, and equipment.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project work plans and design schedules.
  • Ensure design tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project teams to support overall design and construction objectives.
  • Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing system design and drafting for residential, commercial, institutional, or light industrial projects.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit MEP preferred.
