RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for contract and scope management
  • Pro-actively monitors project financial health
  • Leads project delivery life-cycle
  • Provides technical direction over engineering interns and designers
  • Responsible for QA/QC of deliverables
  • Technical knowledge of FAA standards
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the project development process
  • Develops plans, specifications and reports in accordance with engineering standards and client requirements
  • CADD (including 3D) and other design tools (FAARFIELD, AVIPLAN)
  • Excellent verbal, technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to share experience and knowledge with others on the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Proactive and curious
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
