Project Manager โ€“ Experimental Flight Test

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Experimental Flight Test programs within a dynamic aerospace environment. This role will be responsible for leading complex development and certification flight test projects, coordinating crossโ€‘functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring successful project execution from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver complex Experimental Flight Test projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Coordinate crossโ€‘functional teams to establish project plans, milestones, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
  • Partner with engineering teams, technical specialists, suppliers, business leaders, and customer representatives to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, priorities, and resource allocation plans across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Identify project risks and lead mitigation planning and execution activities.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in and coordinate safety and security processes related to product development and flight test activities.
  • Support investigations and corrective actions related to potential product deficiencies.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and maintain visibility into project financial performance.
  • Create and present project reports and executiveโ€‘level updates.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple sites and support remote collaboration as required.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5โ€“8 years of experience in Project Management within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting aircraft development, certification, or flight test programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to influence crossโ€‘functional teams.
  • Selfโ€‘motivated, resultsโ€‘oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong problemโ€‘solving and decisionโ€‘making abilities.
