Project Veritas often uses covert recording techniques to gather information, which has made it a controversial figure in media circles for its methods and the accuracy of its reporting. Supporters argue it brings important issues to light, while critics question its ethics and the potential for misleading editing. The organization operates primarily in the United States and is funded through donations.
