Job description

Job Overview 

Reports to: NDT Supervisor

Location: Seattle, WA 

Type:  Full-Time 

Schedule: 1st Shift (5:00 am - 12:30pm Monday - Friday), 2nd Shift (12:00 pm - 8:30 pm Monday - Friday), 3rd Shift (9;00 pm - 5:00 am Sunday - Thursday) - Shift availability is determined by business needs and may change.

Job Summary:

  • Shall be documented as a trainee and be actively participating in a training program for a stated NDT method for a limited and specified period of time as shown above.
  • Shall obtained experience under the direct observation of a Level 2 or Level 3 in the same method.
  • Shall obtained experience under the direct observation of a level 1 or instructor only when approved by the Responsible Level 3.
  • Shall not make accept or reject decisions.
  • Shall not independently conduct tests.
  • Shall not independently perform any other NDT functions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Candidates with prior NDT experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Preference will be given to local applicants, as relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Must be able to train in other shifts before going to scheduled shift.

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
