Position Title: Task Manager/Contract Manager

Position Location: National Capital Region


Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Provides management and oversight to ensure the task is performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the contract and PWS.
  • Oversees the task and supervises staff assigned to the task.
  • Ensures all deliverables, including the Monthly Progress Report, are accurate and submitted on time in accordance with PWS requirements.
  • Maintains effective communication with the COR regarding requirement status changes, service improvements, major achievements, major project schedule changes, and security events.
  • Serves as the Contractor’s authorized representative for daily contract operations.
  • Coordinates with the COR during emergency situations to continue DHA contracted functions to the maximum extent possible.
  • Supports personnel management, deliverable tracking, issue escalation, and contract administration activities.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management, team leadership, or contract administration.


Required Degree/Certifications:           

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 3 years of Team Lead or Management experience; or
  • Associate’s Degree in any discipline with 5 years of Team Lead or Management experience.
  • IAM Level III or equivalent certification per DoD 8570.01-M is required. (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO).

Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas:

  • Experience with DoD Health Care IT environments is preferred.
  • Ability to manage staff, track deliverables, and communicate effectively with the COR.
  • Ability to provide management oversight for task performance, schedule compliance, deliverable accuracy, and operational coordination.
  • Ability to promptly communicate requirement changes, service improvements, major achievements, major project schedule changes, or security events to the COR.
  • Ability to coordinate continuity of operations during emergency situations, including communication with Government and Contractor points of contact, temporary work locations, and continuation of priority work products.


Required Clearance:

  • Secret security level designation is required.
