Job description

Job Summary:
NEOGOV is seeking an Adult Engagement Project Coordinator to support the implementation of a grant aimed at improving adult learners' return rates to college. The role involves coordinating project activities, conducting data analysis, and developing outreach strategies to engage adult learners effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Implement the activities outlined in the grant based on the approved timetable.
• Convene on a regular basis the project committee to plan, recommend, and carry out grant activities in a coordinated and timely manner, including agenda planning and the use of presentations to lead strategic discussions.
• Independently carry out specific recommendations of the project committee between convenings or facilitate and monitor the completion of recommendations by other assigned departments as appropriate.
• Compile and use adult-focused research reports, studies, resources, and contacts to craft an adult engagement recruitment/marketing training and onboarding curriculum, both for use with VC employees and to be shared with peer institutions.
• As part of the data analysis phase, coordinate focus groups of adult VC students and constituents of community-based organizations to inform the professional development, marketing, and outreach strategies developed by the project committee.
• Ensure the procurement of the Ellucian Banner Award module during the planning phase of the project.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments on campus to create a Memorandum of Understanding template and resources for use with community organizations that provide supplemental support to VC students for their basic needs.
• Develop a VC-facilitated noncredit course curriculum for self-sufficiency strategies for constituents of community organizations that serve individuals in need of receiving their first or upskilling to a subsequent postsecondary credential.
• Facilitate the completion of Marketing and Outreach strategic plans through coordination with appropriate departments for effective launch during the implementation phase of the grant.
• Document project committee meetings, research findings, plans, outputs, and measured outcomes generated during the appointment period.
• If relevant, participate in VC committee meetings that improve the quality of project coordination with other initiatives of the College.
• Monitor project expenditures and budget; submit relevant paperwork to VC Foundation for reimbursement processing.
• Other duties necessary for implementation of grant activities resulting from committee recommendations and/or funder feedback.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or closely related field.
• Minimum three years of experience working directly with constituents in a recruitment, outreach, marketing, or management capacity.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating a multi-disciplinary or cross-departmental project in a current or prior work setting.
Preferred:
• Experience working with underserved and/or nontraditional populations preferred.
• Experience working in higher education, especially community college, is preferred.
