Responsibilities
  • Oversee Service Project Managers and all aspects of the project
  • Manage project costs, field labor, subcontractors/vendors
  • Deliver a quality, safe, and on-time project, under budget
  • Champion project safety and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Provide key leadership and responsibility for planning and trades
  • Conduct and document operational project meetings with appropriate parties
  • Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders
  • Perform project setup and job costing system
  • Conduct monthly reports and cost reviews
  • Build and maintain strong customer relations
  • Monitor status of Risk Management
  • Finalize O&M and start-up manuals
  • Conduct Owner Orientation as required
Requirements
  • 4 Year Degree in Construction Management or applicable fieldwork experience in Plumbing
  • Minimum 10+ years verifiable Project Management experience working for a mechanical subcontractor in the areas of commercial HVAC and Plumbing
  • Must have verifiable experience in working on various projects at a time (University buildings, etc)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
