The Project Manager located in Ville Platte, La is responsible for coordinating a cross-functional team that will plan, execute, and close projects within budget, schedule, and quality constraints. Communicate project status, risks, and performance to stakeholders and provide regular reports to the Program Manager. This role will identify and manage scope variations, both commercially and operationally, and identify and mitigate risks. Collaborate with internal and external teams such as purchasing, finance, and operations to drive demand, manage logistics, and achieve operational project goals while maintaining a strong safety culture. Job Experience and Qualifications
Plans the work of a team of staff necessary to deliver a new product or technology.
Works with the supervisor and team members to identify and organize the best approach to executing the tasks required for the project and takes full responsibility for the detailed project plan and resources.
Delivers the product at the necessary level of quality to respect the requirements established by the business stakeholders (e.g. requirements, timeline and budget).
Provides technical documentation from the team that describes proven solutions for the project, including design files, technical drawings and specifications documents as required by the end user.
Maintains the necessary level of expertise for self through training and development as appropriate for the execution of the project.
Plan, execute, and close projects within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and Safety Management Systems.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve project goals.Manage project risk and identify and mitigate emergent risks.Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, and provide regular project performance reports.
Drive demand for goods and services, administer quotations, MOCs, and VO's, and raise purchase requisitions.
Record critical operational data such as HSE statistics, critical-path/NPT hours, on-time delivery measurements, and KPI data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, finance, and operations, to achieve project goals.Maintain strong customer relationships and measure and improve customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
PMP Certification
5 years' experience as a Project Manager
Oil and Gas background -Valve manufacturing
Excellent communication skills both written and Verbal
Proficient in SAP, excel, and Microsoft Planner
Must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States without visa sponsorship
