The Project Manager will lead construction projects within the business services industry in Chicago, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. This role involves coordinating teams and resources to achieve project goals effectively. Client Details A well-established, employee-focused commercial general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout the Midwest. Known for its collaborative culture, strong financial stability, and commitment to investing in its people, the company continues to grow through repeat business, long-term client relationships, and a focus on delivering exceptional results across a variety of commercial market sectors. Description Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion. Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle. Review contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure projects meet company quality standards and safety expectations. Profile Experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. Demonstrated experience successfully delivering ground-up and/or major renovation projects. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
