Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and track detailed project budgets, including financial monitoring, cost control, and final financial settlement of projects.
  • Create, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules with a strong emphasis on sequencing and critical path to meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and lead project planning and work coordination so that all activities are executed according to project specifications, quality criteria, and client expectations.
  • Provide operational management and direction to the project team, including field staff and subcontractors, to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and to standard.
  • Supervise and support executive and field staff, including conducting toolbox or similar safety and coordination meetings to ensure teams are qualified and well informed.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the construction process, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical requirements and design intent are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, company policies, and quality standards on every project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to project specifications, drawings, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare, manage, and process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and take-offs, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Implement and oversee risk management strategies to identify, mitigate, and manage potential project risks and issues.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including planning, ordering, and tracking to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals and progress.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, summarizing schedule, cost, risk, and key issues.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet competing deadlines.
  • Ensure the entire implementation process, from work preparation handover through construction and final delivery, runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Promote and maintain a collaborative, positive, and safety-focused work environment that supports training, development, and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects.
  • 7–10+ years of experience working on high-end clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, typically ranging from approximately $500K to $20M, with a core focus in the $3M–$5M range.
  • Demonstrated ability to take projects from purchase order through completion, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Experience managing ground-up construction, office fit-outs, and renovation projects.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
