Job description

Are you ready for an exciting job where no two days are ever the same? Our Project Managers work hard to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and be 100% reliable and accountable. The Project Manager handles residential and/or commercial restoration projects. Jobs include but are not limited to fire and water restoration jobs that involve mold, lead paint and/or asbestos as well as reconstruction.
Essential Functions
โ€ข Manages project costs and adhering to predetermined budgets
โ€ข Manages subcontractor relationships and delivery of services
โ€ข Recruits subcontractors
โ€ข Manages in-house trade staff
โ€ข Ensures quality control and work site safety
โ€ข Manages production schedules and timelines
โ€ข Operational sales and development of company brand
โ€ข Collects project funds
โ€ข Manages material and resource providers/vendors
โ€ข Manages customer and tenant relations
โ€ข Supports ongoing training and development of team members
Competencies
โ€ข Competency with computers, phone and other mobile platforms
โ€ข Competency with MS office suite, Google Docs and other related software
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Emergency / After Hours Assignments
โ€ข Participates in 24 hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours. Rotation is one week every 6 weeks.
โ€ข Ensures every Field Team employee is aware and given timely notice of on-call shift assignments.
โ€ข During assigned on-call shift be responsive, answering all phone calls.

Required education and experience
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent
โ€ข At least two years of related experience
Preferred education and experience
โ€ข Two or more years' experience managing repair projects in the insurance restoration industry
โ€ข IICRC certifications in Water, Fire and Mold restoration
โ€ข Project Management related certifications and/or training
