You as a ‘Project Manager, Insurance Assessment’ will: 

  • Deliver services in a role as a Building Consultant or Cost Consultant on mid to large loss insurance claims and other construction related projects
  • Provide excellent communication between our clients and project related stakeholders
  • Assess restoration measures onsite, develop scope of repairs, monitor and report on site activity and prepare budgets and other estimating exercises as required
  • Review Building Code compliance issues and upgrade requirements with consultants and provide recommendations
  • Prepare and implement competitive tender packages for contractors and trades.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project related activities for stakeholders as well as EllisDon management.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Restoration, insurance or construction project management experience is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma  in Construction, Project Management, Architectural, Engineering, or Trade Certification would be an asset
  • CIP, PQS, CIQS, RICS, CIP, PMP, CRM designations and/or various IICRC certifications would be an asset
  • Self-motivated and willing to work out of town within Western Canada when required
  • Ability to delegate tasks to internal team members and ensure deliverables are always met
