Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials for engineering projects. This role will be essential in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and supporting our project teams with the resources they need. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for effective communication with domestic and international suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for engineering materials and equipment
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
  • Track order status, manage delivery schedules, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time arrival
  • Coordinate with engineers and other internal teams to forecast material needs and prevent shortages
  • Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records
  • Assist with ERP system setup, data entry, process implementation, and ongoing system maintenance related to procurement operations
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, budget, and quality requirements
  • Provide bilingual communication support for supplier coordination in both English and Mandarin

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles (engineering or construction industry preferred)
  • Experience with ERP systems setup, maintenance, or procurement module operations preferred
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
