The People Operations Supervisor supports the delivery and optimization of key HR processes and programs, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality service across the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with HR stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness, support continuous improvement, and help align People Operations activities with broader HR organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily People Operations activities, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience across the full lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, offboarding).
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and workload prioritization for members of the People Operations team to ensure efficient service delivery and alignment with team goals.
  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to HR processes and workflows that increase efficiency, strengthen compliance, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Support HRIS process and system enhancements across the employee lifecycle by partnering with stakeholders to implement system updates, improve workflows, and leverage automation and AI to streamline and optimize People Operations.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are maintained, compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and consistently applied; support updates and documentation as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and standardize documentation practices, and partner with manager and team members to develop, maintain, and enhance SOPs, process documentation, and internal knowledge resources that support operational consistency and scalability.
  • Partner with manager to establish, monitor, and analyze SLAs and KPIs, using data and insights to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support a proactive, service-oriented approach to People Operations.
  • Support and contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives and projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and policy updates that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and resolution of employee and stakeholder inquiries by leveraging established procedures, policies, and knowledge management tools.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to data privacy and compliance requirements in all People Operations activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP, PHR) certification a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources or People Operations.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience of an HR function with a focus on driving engagement and results
  • Experience in managing and improving HR processes throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with teams and departments.
  • Experience in data analysis and using HR metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Preferred experience with Workday.
