USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Regional Operations Director to join our team. This position will be located in our Middletown, CT location.

The Regional Operations Director is responsible for overseeing all operational activities across multiple branch locations within a designated region. This role ensures consistent execution of company standards, policies, procedures, and safety regulations while driving regional performance, profitability, and growth. The position requires a strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational oversight to achieve organizational objectives and maintain a high-performing, compliant, and scalable operating environment.
The Regional Operations Director provides leadership across multiple teams and locations, developing regional strategies, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment between field operations and corporate goals. This role plays a critical part in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across the region.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage regional sales and expense budgets across multiple branch operations to align with corporate financial and growth objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance of projects and ensure alignment with forecasts.
  • Analyze activities, costs, operations, budgets, and forecasts to measure progress toward objectives.
  • Identify and pursue business development and growth opportunities across the region while maintaining and expanding key client relationships.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader and escalation point for multiple branches, ensuring consistency, compliance, and accountability across all locations.
  • Mentor, train, and develop branch managers and key personnel across the region to strengthen leadership capability and succession planning.
  • Monitor regional productivity and workforce performance, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage workflows to assist staff in balancing priorities and provide backup support when required.
  • Ensure contractual compliance for current and future projects, maintaining a high level of operational standards.
  • Review daily reports and take appropriate actions to address discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to operational processes, implementing changes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters.
  • Participate in regional hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with and subject to approval from senior leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership to support regional and organizational objectives.
