About this position: a senior role supported by the PMO Office, responsible for guiding complex projects, bridging business strategy with technical execution, ensuring client success, leading teams, managing risk, and delivering highโ€‘value solutions.

Job Details
  • Strategic Leadership: Defines project vision, sets direction, and ensures alignment with business goals.
  • Project Execution: Oversees complex project plans, resources, and timelines, often handling highโ€‘stakes initiatives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Builds trust, manages expectations, and serves as a primary point of contact.
  • Software Experience: Must have experience in Planning, Scheduling and Cost Management using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project among others.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management: Mentors junior consultants, resolves conflicts, and communicates effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Methodology & Standards: Develops and implements project management best practices, templates, and metrics.
  • Problem Solving: Uses deep analytical skills to tackle challenges and adapt strategies.
  • Workload Continuity: Supports clients during the teamโ€™s vacancy at clientโ€™s site or virtually.
  • Qualifications: Bachelorโ€™s degree required; PMI certification preferred; 5โ€“10+ years of experience as supervisor or manager in leading a team. Experience in software development, IT, industrial construction rail, and transportation a plus.

A Project Principal Consultant will manage a group of 4โ€“6 professionals to support client assignments, ensure resources are trained, and maintain continuity of work when a resource is unavailable.
