Ferguson is now seeking a Project Manager supporting industrial projects.

This position has the ability to be remote after the initial training period. Training will take place at one of our approved industrial branches.

Responsibilities

Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performance, and workflow efficiency

  • Manage key customer account from inquiry to award date through project closeout.

  • Collaborate with customer, vendors, contractors, and owners to ensure on time delivery.

  • Develop and manage multiple project schedules

  • Monitor progress of overall construction activities.

  • Lead calls with management to review job site issues, work schedules, sub-contractor

  • Organize and schedule regular vendor meetings which provide updates on deliveries, appropriate updates to scheduling and other timeline activities. technical issues, documentation, etc.

  • Organize and schedule regular customer updates on all aspects of the project.

  • Review and approve suggested changes by either customers or vendors and coordinate appropriate updates to scheduling and other timeline activities

Qualifications

  • Experience in Industrial Inside Sales or Project Management. Minimum 3 - 5 years preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and focus on quality output.

  • Knowledge of PVF materials and processes.

  • Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate commercial and technical specifications.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF software.

  • Strong organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ability to coordinate several major activities simultaneously.

  • Customer service oriented with excellent leadership and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization

  • Team player with the aptitude for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships with team members, vendors and customers.
