Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to lead Petrotech Inc.โ€™s complex turbomachinery control projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of turnkey control system projects by coordinating technical execution, managing customer relationships, and driving project profitability. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to navigate commercial and technical challenges will be essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality solutions and achieving high customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, ensuring technical specifications and contractual commitments are met.

โ€ข Lead project execution, including scheduling, tracking, shipment coordination, and invoicing management.

โ€ข Act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

โ€ข Prepare and manage change orders, control project margins, and ensure on-time delivery.

โ€ข Collaborate with finance to manage invoicing and cash flow, maintaining project profitability.

โ€ข Conduct critical path analysis, track schedule variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

โ€ข Monitor project costs, performance metrics, and initiate corrective measures to keep projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

โ€ข Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and customer teams to resolve technical, scheduling, and commercial issues.

Education & Experience

โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience in control system engineering and project management within the energy, oil & gas, or industrial automation sectors.

โ€ข Proven success in managing complex projects involving control system design, commissioning, and startup activities.

Technical Skills

โ€ข Deep understanding of control system design, including control panels, instrumentation, PLC/DCS/HMI programming, Factory Acceptance Testing, and field commissioning.

โ€ข Ability to analyze project schedules, costs, and technical issues, and implement effective solutions.

โ€ข Strong communication skills to interface effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
