Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Project Manager to join the team. Become part of a dynamic aerospace company. You will report to the Director of PMO and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, California. The Project Manager is responsible for leading global transitions in all aspects of commissioning project execution and capital project operational readiness.

Ontic has a long history in the Aerospace and Defense marketplace, producing high quality products used in both legacy and modern applications.

To be considered for the Project Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of aerospaceindustry/manufacturingprocesses
  • Experience with budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage complex global transition and recommissioning projects from conception to completion using appropriate methodologies
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams while coaching other Project Managers
  • Monitor project governance, timelines, risks, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery against milestones
  • Lead risk and opportunity management, including mitigation strategies and escalation when needed
