Job description

Position Summary
This is a full-time, dedicated Project Manager role that directly oversees performance of Prong-One, Two, and Three and acts as the single liaison to the County's Project Manager. This is the operational hub of the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead the project kick-off meeting and finalize the schedule/staffing with the Project Steering Committee.
โ€ข Own the detailed Project Work Plan (deliverables, tasks, sub-tasks, start/end dates, staffing) and keep it current at every status report.
โ€ข Submit the first status report within 7 calendar days of work commencing, then ongoing status reports at each Milestone.
โ€ข Run weekly meetings/calls with each department to report status, re-schedule tasks, and resolve open issues.
โ€ข Coordinate Milestone Presentations and Executive/staff briefings with handouts in Microsoft PowerPoint.
โ€ข Track and report outstanding assessments, audits, and deliverables with revised completion dates after each Milestone.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
โ€ข 5+ years of IT/cybersecurity project management experience, ideally on public-sector or multi-site engagements.
โ€ข PMP or equivalent project management certification.
โ€ข Experience managing concurrent workstreams across dozens of stakeholders or locations.
โ€ข Strong written reporting skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint deliverables).
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Experience managing HIPAA-regulated or public-sector security assessment engagements.
โ€ข Familiarity with NIST SP 800-30 risk categorization for status reporting.
Travel
Regular travel to San Bernardino, Colton, Redlands, Rialto, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Hesperia, Big Bear Lake, and Yucca Valley for kick-off meetings, status meetings, and executive briefings.
