Description
We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Construction Project Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall tasks to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close-out projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or any construction related field is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, industry standard construction management software such as Computer Aided Drafting software (CAD, estimating, scheduling, etc.
5 years of construction management experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other design professionals.
Determine and define project scope and objectives.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations and schedule constraints.
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Track project costs in order to meet budget.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor the progress of each project and make decisions regarding progress as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
