Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring a Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for leading physical security project across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project management, physical security technologies, and IT systems integration, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-site deployments. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant physical security solutions that protect people, assets, and operations.
Pay: $82,992.00 / year
This is a Monday - Friday in-office position located in Moline, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Project management: Define project goals, scope, and work plans; work with management to determine long-term goals of the department (6-month, 1 year, 5 year), establish meaningful and impactful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and work to plan these goals out into manageable projects; specific style of project planning will be dictated by the Project Manager (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of physical security projects, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
  • Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with corporate security objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design scalable, standards-compliant physical security systems that align with corporate security requirements
  • Ensure all security installations and designs adhere to corporate physical security standards, industry best practices and applicable regulations
  • Support client team as a point of contact for security integrators, contractors, and technology vendors
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including design drawings, change orders, test plans, and close-out reports
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and milestones
  • Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and evaluate their applicability to enhance corporate security posture
  • Recommend upgrades or new solutions to improve system performance and operational efficiency
  • Develop and deliver training programs for local facility teams, security stakeholders, and leadership
  • Maintain detailed documentation on procedures, equipment, inventory, and system configurations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience, preferably managing multi-site or enterprise-level security or technology projects
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Experience working with security integrators, contractors, and vendors in a lead or supervisory capacity
  • Experience interpreting and applying corporate security standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present to and instruct others
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, attention to detail, be well organized, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills specifically within Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle after-hours support as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
  • Project management experience
  • College Degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field
  • Certification in one or more of the following:
    • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
    • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience in enterprise or global security environments, especially in corporate, industrial, or manufacturing sectors
  • Background in security risk assessments and mitigation planning
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam for reviewing or creating security system layouts
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams involving security, IT, facilities, legal, and compliance
