Project Manager

We're recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading manufacturer of food processing and packaging equipment in Kansas City, MO.


This is an excellent opportunity to manage capital equipment projects from initial design through installation, working closely with customers, engineering, manufacturing and international teams.


What You'll Do

  • Manage capital equipment projects from kickoff through completion
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, installation and commissioning
  • Lead customer meetings, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers
  • Coordinate vendors, subcontractors and project resources
  • Track project schedules, budgets and deliverables
  • Support contract reviews, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical sales support including equipment selection and project planning


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' project management experience within food processing, food packaging or industrial manufacturing
  • Experience managing capital equipment or OEM machinery projects
  • Strong customer-facing communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP or project management software is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across North America with occasional travel to Europe
