Job description

As a Project Manager at Ruhrpumpen you will be responsible to coordinate people and processes to ensure Type C complexity projects meet all scope requirements according to their contract and are delivered on time. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and work with cross functional teams to finalize projects on time and in scope.
  • Evaluate the project’s health, understanding the issues and risks and create a plan to mitigate the risks - not just a tracker of issues, but a resolver.
  • Establish clear project goals, guiding what everyone needs to do in the most efficient way and drive accountability to complete each task.
  • Conduct project related meetings throughout the project cycle to ensure projects are on schedule, to identify any risks and discuss mitigation strategies with project leadership.
  • Utilize project management tools to develop project plans and monitor project milestones.
  • Identify and manage cost containment, scope creep, change orders and other overarching needs of the organization.
  • Manage communication flow with all project stakeholders, updating both the customer and project leadership.
  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities and facilitate change.
  • Ability to manage Type B and A complexity projects as skill and knowledge increase.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred), Technical Degree with 5 years’ experience
  • 2 years of experience
