ENERCON Services Inc., doing business for the Federal Government through our wholly owned subsidiary, ENERCON Federal Services (EFS), provides engineering and environmental services to many branches of the Federal Government. With extensive experience in engineering design, nuclear safety, decommissioning and environmental services, we are actively supporting large and small projects throughout the DOE complex. EFS also has current experience supporting operations and decommissioning efforts at US Army Corps of Engineers and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities.
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager I to represent ENERCON at a customer site in Piketon, OH (Portsmouth). This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L Clearance (US Citizenship Required) and will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects within the IT department.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
โ€ข Oversee all aspects of technology projects.
โ€ข Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and control the progress of technology project.
โ€ข Build and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
โ€ข Prepare reports for executive management and primary stakeholders regarding project status.
โ€ข Clarify project scope.
โ€ข Develop the project plan.
โ€ข Develop the project schedule.
โ€ข Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives.
โ€ข Determine the necessary resources and organizational structure of the project team.
โ€ข Identify services to be provided by external companies.
โ€ข Internally attain staff for project positions or staff project positions externally.
โ€ข Set team direction.
โ€ข Motivate team members.
โ€ข Coordinate activities across different organizational functions.
โ€ข Ensure project remains on target for completion according to project management plan.
โ€ข Communicate and obtain executive sign off on initial cost, resource, and schedule.
โ€ข Define, monitor, and remediate risks.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข BA/BS in Project Management, Business Administration, or Information Technology field and 6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
โ€ข Active DOE L or Q clearance or ability to obtain/maintain a DOE L or Q clearance (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED).
โ€ข Work history and/or education commensurate with:
- Duties outlined in the position description.
- Ability to lead in a matrixed environment.
- Basic understanding of software design and development.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a budget.
