ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We have a JOB FOR YOU!!! 100% Remote and responsible for delivery of Projects Management to our clients.

As part of a new data warehouse implementation, you will perform Project Management related tasks.  . This role is part of the Business Intelligence Team and will deliver reporting solutions using the Microsoft 365 suite of tools to bring about operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

  • Must be PMP Certified
  • Must have experience with Data Analytics (using tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, or Power BI)
  • Participates in Design Reviews
  • Runs Shareholder meetings.
  • Determines project scope and develops project plan, defining/documenting resources, skill requirements, project plan, milestones, and metrics.
  • Monitors project status; anticipates problems and/or risks and resolves them or escalates them to the appropriate level of management for resolution in order to ensure project completion is within budget, of the highest quality, on schedule, and has met or exceeded customer expectations.
  • Works to execute consulting and project planning methodologies, tools, and standards, and provides ideas and strategies for improvements.
  • Provides expertise to assist in the planning and execution of proposals.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with the customer's management and project teams. Works with colleagues, customers, and other resources in a collaborative manner to reach decisions and solve problems.
  • Provides leadership in developing skills and breadth of knowledge of project team members. Acts as a mentor to team members.

Education & Experience:

  • Can either be an Intermediate Level P/M with 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager, or a Senior with 5-7 years of experience.
  • Prior experience as part of a management team (lead role with planning, resource, and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full life cycle implementation
  • B.A. / B.S. in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience identifying, assessing risks, and mitigating and resolving them
  • Ability to be able to present to C-Level management

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • Effectively leads project teams to successful completion of a project, encouraging collaboration, promoting the flow of information among all participants, and providing clear direction on how to meet project goals. Provides clear direction, establishing clear and achievable goals and standards.
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management skills; organizes time effectively and determines the right resources needed to effectively perform job assignments.
  • Develops working relationships with clients and individuals in other business units by understanding their perspectives and issues.
  • Takes initiative to achieve value-added results, within the scope of responsibility.
  • Works with minimal direction but promotes an open flow of information so that all concerned are well informed
  • Writes documentation and complex reports in a clear and concise manner and presents information in a well-organized, clear, and efficient manner.
  • Basic knowledge of software application products, tools, methodologies, and standards with significant product knowledge in one application.
