Job description

Project Manager opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Project Manager position.  The project Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating healthcare projects, ensuring they are delivered in time, within scope and within budget. This position involves managing a diverse range of projects, including construction and facility development, clinical workflows optimization and integrating third party software solutions with EHR platform. The project manager will collaborate with the leadership team and external vendors to align project goals with hospital’s strategic objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or Information Technology (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare project management (required)
  • Experience managing a variety of project types including but not limited to IT hardware upgrades, new or replacement software implementations, clinical informatics, creation of new lines of business or offerings, process redesign, and facilities construction. (preferred)
  • Experience using waterfall project management processes, Lean techniques, and familiarity with agile (preferred)
  • Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: PMP Certification (preferred)
  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • Ability to lead a team to achieve project objectives from planning through implementation with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to influence project success in a functional organization structure where project team members are not direct reports to the project manager.
    • Patient/Customer focus required.
    • Ability to learn and understand concepts in disparate areas such as information systems and technology, as well as medical workflows and processes.

Office 365 expertise required.

Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours/week
