Electrical Project Manager


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related field preferred
  • Minimum two to three years of project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF files
  • Valid State Driver's License.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes, executes and adheres to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
  • Minimizes exposure and risks by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
  • Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of projects.
  • Coordinates and supervises internal crews and subcontractors as well as manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects in a supervisory role.
  • Manages job-specific equipment needs, including sourcing, logistics, and safety assessments.
  • Manages procurement of materials including issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.
  • Reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
  • Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within the allocated time and budget.
  • Reports to the Manager about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
  • Represents the company in project meetings and manages day to day client interactions and expectations
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and costs for projects and works to achieve revenue goals set for projects.
  • Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting.
  • Proactively identifies changes in project scope and revenue and ensures appropriate measures are taken.
  • Provides accounting with accurate job costing data and tracks job costs through the duration of a project.
  • Attends meetings and required training as needed.
  • Perform other duties or task as required based on company's needs.
