We are seeking an Architect & Project Manager in our South Bend, IN office.
Job Summary:
The Architectural Project Manager partners with Architects and Designers to manage overall project quality, financial performance, project schedules, and internal and external client communication.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads team to achieve project schedules and budget.
  • Collaborates with team members to execute project plans, monitor plans, alert team members to changes in project scope, prepare project history, and collaborate in closing out projects.
  • Orchestrates quality assurance and quality control milestones, ensures project compliance, leads team members to review project specific errors/omissions, and assists with resolutions.
  • Plans, monitors, and controls technical costs and scheduled performance, and reviews project financial reports to achieve project profit goals.
  • Maintains positive client relationships.
  • Defines business development opportunities, follows up on project possibilities, creates proposals, and assists in negotiating contracts to establish the scope of work, schedule, and budget.
  • May supervise a team of Architects, Designer, and Drafters.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Licensed Architect in the State of Indiana or Michigan; or able to gain reciprocal licensure.
  • AIA membership preferred.

Work Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of project design and execution.
  • Strong aptitude in planning and design with strong technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and integrate work with designers, engineers, construction administrators, consultants, and other members of the project team.
  • Knowledge of Revit, SketchUP, Lumion, Twinmotion, and Adobe Photoshop desired.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Work Environment
  • Typical office environment with some work performed outside on a project site. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety boots/shoes, hard hat, safety vest, etc. Travel may be required.
