We are seeking an experienced Project Manager atCharlotteoffice.

What you can expect to do:

  • Reading of documents and contracts.
  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Writing subcontracts.
  • Negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
  • Reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work.
  • Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Assist in estimating process.
  • Review/prepare change orders.
  • Develop/track submittals, RFI's and cost reports.
  • Maintain owner relations.
  • Resolve issues with win-win solutions and collaboration.
  • Display natural leadership skills andassurethat project responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately.
  • Travel as needed for projects.
  • Lead by example, display honesty, integrity, and good judgment while maintaining high standards.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Minimum of five (5) + years' experience in managing projects valued at $20MM and higher.
  • College degree in a construction/engineering fieldpreferred, butnot required.
  • Knowledge of the local construction market is preferred.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully leading Multifamily or wood framed projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.
  • Computer Skills Required - Procore, Scheduling software (P6 preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Marketing and presentation skills.
  • Shouldbe highly organized, highly motivated and adetail directedproblem solver.
  • Havean advancedknowledge of the design-buildconstruction process including preconstruction, major system evaluations, estimating, scheduling, cost control, design and client management.
  • Proven team player and have a strong background of leading project efforts, from programming through turnover with contract values from $20MM-$100MM+
  • Bring strong local relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients and municipalities. (Preferred)
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
