Job Title: Marketing Manager

Status: Exempt


Summary:

 As the Marketing Manager at Martin, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and brand awareness. You will lead a team to execute marketing campaigns, create compelling marketing content, optimize our e-commerce platform, enhance web and graphic design, manage events and supplier co-op, and drive growth. Your strong leadership, strategic thinking, and marketing expertise will play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives and ensuring the success of our marketing efforts. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our services, products, and overall brand across digital      platforms, AI, social media, email marketing, and offline channels.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, including our Web & Graphic Designer and Marketing Content Creator, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to maximize their potential and drive results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Ownership, Category Management, HR, and Supply Chain, to align marketing activities with overall business goals.
  • Ensure a consistent brand experience by ensuring best in class practices at each point along a customer's journey.
  • Collaborate with our Suppliers to cross promote their products and services and utilize Supplier resources to amplify Martin’s      marketing efforts.
  • Widen the sales funnel by ensuring our marketing speak to our target audience and contains Calls to Action that encourage potential customers to look to Martin to help them operate better.
  • Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including AI (AEO), search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising, social media advertising, and email marketing, to drive website traffic, generate leads, and increase conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, customer engagement, and return on investment (ROI), using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Lead event marketing efforts, coordinating across departments for meetings, customer engagement opportunities, and other Martin supported events. 
  • Work closely with the E-commerce Specialist and E-commerce Coordinator to optimize the e-commerce platform and improve the online customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Web & Graphic Designer to develop visually compelling and user-friendly website designs, landing pages, and marketing collateral that align with the brand identity and resonate with the target audience.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing content, including blog articles, social media posts, videos, and infographics, ensuring they are informative, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and omni-channel marketing opportunities, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively and monitoring expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, creativity, and continuous learning within the marketing team.

  • Proven experience as a marketing manager or in a similar marketing leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including content marketing, AI, SEO, PPC advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns, incorporating data-driven insights and customer-centric approaches.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to offer multiple solutions to problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex marketing concepts to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and web analytics platforms to track and measure marketing performance.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; additional certifications in marketing or digital marketing are a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, website content management systems (CMS), and graphic design software is preferred.
