Job description

Milpower Source in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager that will lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, while driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic business objectives. Ideal candidates for this role will possess a PMP or CAPM certification. It is not required but it would be a plus. Ideal candidate will also demonstrate people skills, extreme attention to detail, and a goal-focused attitude.

•Manage project schedules

•Work very closely with R&D and Operations teams to ensure on-time delivery and daily management to ensure projects remain on schedule

•Review plan design preparations to ensure customer artifacts are presented and action items are closed

•Regularly and proactively engage Program Managers to communicate project status.

•Ensure projects are properly transferred to production when the design phase is complete.

•Complete technical compliance matrix with R&D for Sales-led proposal activities.

•Support SOW compliance with R&D, Sales, QA and Management

•Daily management of project schedule using Gantt charts

•Oversee Qual test activities requested by customers

•Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

· Ability to read and understand a customer statement of work (SOW) and interpret project deliverables and requirements.

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced corporate environment

· Must have the ability to manage technical projects.

Desired Skills:

· Project and small team leadership skills.

· Able to work independently and within team effort environments.

· Excellent written and verbal communication

Education and Experience:

· Background in engineering, quality, or a similar field.

· BS In Electrical Engineering would be a plus but not required.

· Experience with MS Project, including Integrated Master Schele (IMS) development & Daily management

· Experience communicating with customers technical and program leadership

· Experience working with MS Suite of products including Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint

· Experience working in the defense or aerospace industry is a plus.

· Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
