Our client seeks a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of cybersecurity-focused initiatives within an enterprise portfolio environment. The role operates within a centralized PMO to drive strategic programs and ensure delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and resources. This position advances project management standards, processes, and governance while managing a portfolio aligned to enterprise security objectives. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of delivery and ensure alignment with organizational standards across cost, quality, communication, risk, and integration.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for cross-functional, matrixed project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders, leadership, and team members.
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting in alignment with PMO standards.
  • Drive end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, estimation, scheduling, cost control, vendor management, and implementation planning.
  • Deliver clear and effective presentations to leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure impacted business areas are prepared for organizational and process changes associated with project delivery.
  • Develop and execute communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes, systems, or services.
  • Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies through resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, standards, and portfolio-level visibility.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Working to proficient knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with project scheduling, scope management, cost control, risk management, and delivery oversight.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Experience managing cybersecurity or related technical projects.
  • Preferred: Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects of moderate to large scale.
  • Preferred: Experience managing project financials, including forecasting and budget tracking.
  • Preferred: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
