Data One Construction specializes in mission-critical data center electrical infrastructure. We deliver large-scale electrical systems for data centers and industrial facilities, working with cutting-edge technology in high-stakes environments where reliability is paramount.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects for data center facilities from preconstruction through commissioning. This role requires strong technical knowledge of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) distribution systems, controls wiring, and the ability to manage all aspects of project execution in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and client stakeholders
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to senior leadership

Technical Oversight:

  • Review and interpret project schematics, specifications, and electrical drawings
  • Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements and all applicable codes
  • Provide technical guidance on MV distribution systems, LV distribution systems, and controls wiring
  • Conduct quality control reviews and inspections throughout project lifecycle
  • Oversee commissioning and startup of electrical systems

Change Management:

  • Track and manage Change Orders (CO's) and Request for Information (RFI's)
  • Coordinate CO pricing, approvals, and implementation with project teams
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and change order logs
  • Ensure all changes are properly documented and communicated

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise electrical foremen, electricians, and project support staff
  • Provide technical mentorship and problem-solving support
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance on all job sites
  • Foster a collaborative, safety-first work environment

Required Qualifications

Technical Knowledge (MUST HAVE):

  • Knowledge of MV (Medium Voltage) Distribution systems
