Job description

The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities and work closely with the operations team, while helping grow and provide technical expertise in this area of the company. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated problem solver that's able to operate in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.
1. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. This includes goal setting, production, reporting, budgeting, efficiently solving customer issues.
2. Effectively communicate with the Project Manager assigned by the customer.
3. Efficient communication with the administrative staff within the company.
4. Show exemplary customer service to customers, corporate leadership, subordinate supervisors and technicians, ability to instill technicians with professional, customer service driven attitude.
5. Ensure that company policy is adhered to with respect to, but not limited to, safety, assets, production etc.
6. Oversee business financials and provide reporting to management
7. Provide customer follow-up for: general inquiries, feedback on ongoing and completed projects as required
8. Update customers with regular status updates and scope of work changes
9. Complete regular follow up with local management and field technicians and provide frequent status updates to senior management
10. Work with customers and senior management to help define a scope of work for larger projects and rollouts
11. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in general business; or a combination of education and work experience along with required skill set
โ€ข PMP or CAPM preferred
Position Requirements:
โ€ข Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.
Technical Skills:
โ€ข Experience in an operations environment in telecommunications, VoIP, satellite, routers, networking equipment and/or cabling.
โ€ข Experience with telecommunication dispatching and project management
โ€ข Experience working with multiple projects at one time
โ€ข Ability to work with project deadlines, project changes, and the ability to overcome unforeseen project challenges
โ€ข Ability to trouble shoot and solve technical, personnel or other project related issues
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
