This is a full-time salaried position with Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company. The successful candidate will reside in one of Project Farma's primary markets and be willing to travel domestically to meet client project requests.

The PMO Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for leading teams and overseeing the execution of work aligned to project, client, and business objectives. This role balances people leadership with operational accountability, including coaching, performance management, resource planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget. At more senior levels, this role provides experienced leadership and operational oversight across multiple projects or functional areas, with accountability for team performance, talent development, and consistent execution of business priorities, while partnering with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

This role provides technical leadership and disciplined execution across the full project lifecycle-from early design through operational readiness to closeout-while acting as a key advisor to clients and ensuring alignment with enterprise project management standards. It includes the delivery of capital projects of moderate to high complexity, typically valued between $5M and $200M total installed cost, within regulated life sciences and advanced manufacturing environments.

The Project Management Office Manager/Senior Manager provides experienced leadership across multiple projects or functional areas, with accountability for team performance, talent development, and consistent execution of business priorities, partnering with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement, scalability, and organizational effectiveness. Additionally, this role serves as both Project Farma's and the client owner's representative, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards, with direct reporting to the Regional Vice President and indirect reporting to the VP, Project Management to maintain alignment with firm-wide standards.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams across engineering, construction, CQV, and startup workstreams.
  • Lead planning, design, construction, commissioning, startup and transition to operations phases of assigned projects.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, governance models, and project controls structures.
  • Act as the owner's representative and primary point of contact for client leadership.
  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across all project phases.
  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, OSHA).
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, engineers, and support staff.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders, EPC/EPCM partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Support change management and escalation processes with Regional Vice President and Vice President, Project Management as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption both internally and on behalf of clients.

Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (and/or Masters) in Construction Management or related field
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of capital project delivery experience, 5 years as a project manager or workstream lead on projects in the $5M - $200M TIC range.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences capital delivery, including CQV, GEP, and operational readiness.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments.
