Description:Built on Integrity. Ready for the Mission.

At Tamayo Federal Solutions (TFS), we believe great missions are accomplished by great people—not just the most experienced, but those with the right mindset, integrity, and drive to grow. As an SBA-certified 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, TFS delivers high-impact, mission-focused solutions for federal customers nationwide. Your Mission

Support the SUPSHIP Newport News Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) Planning Team by providing SQL development, database administration, Microsoft Access application support, and data platform modernization support across legacy and current systems.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will provide structured query language (SQL), Microsoft Access, database administration, and application troubleshooting support to RCOH project teams. You will help maintain, enhance, secure, and modernize mission-critical data applications while coordinating with Government stakeholders and end users to ensure reliable functionality and interoperability across legacy and modern data platforms.

· Maintain, enhance, develop, and troubleshoot issues or bugs in existing Microsoft Access applications and vintage Access “accdb” databases.

· Maintain and administer SQL Server databases, including backups, performance tuning, table and query modifications, security, and user account management.

· Design, develop, repair, and optimize SQL database-driven applications while supporting data integrity and cybersecurity requirements.

· Work closely with Contracting Officers, Planning Managers, application users, and project stakeholders to confirm required functionality, evaluate software solutions, and develop new features.

· Convert Access SQL statements into SQL Server syntax and support migration or modernization of legacy database functionality where needed.

· Design graphical user interface (GUI) forms in Microsoft Access and debug code using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

· Improve security features of Access applications and assist SUPSHIP with Authority to Operate (ATO) support when necessary.

· Incorporate software versioning practices and use software version control systems for existing and updated applications.
