Job description

Overview

Warehouse Manager monitor and oversee the daily operations of a warehouse. They oversee the delivery and paperwork flow to ensure customer deliveries are delivered on time. They oversee group and route deliveries of loads according to designed geographic areas, assist in the building of loads and freight handling as necessary, and maintain the store special order program and other sales programs as assigned by the Store Manager.


Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and/or supplies
    • Prepares delivery analysis to improve and enhance delivery efficiency
    • Maintains accurate records of all deliveries including inventory shipped and to what locations (addresses)
    • Verifies BOL with the store purchase order and verify orders/quantities of all incoming freight to the warehouse
  • Supports the organization's supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods
  • Tracks inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems
  • Ensures warehouse operations comply with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable
  • Ensures the warehouse team completes assigned daily tasks
  • Trains new associates on their job responsibilities in the warehouse

Supervisory Responsibility
This individual oversees all warehouse associates

Work Environment
Indoors

Physical Demands
Warehouse Manager will occasionally work outdoors and around moving mechanical parts, where they will be exposed to humidity, rain, extreme heat, extreme cold, and other weather conditions

This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 48+ hours per week
