Requirements
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on in-store support for both off-premise and on-premise accounts.
  • Delivers daily market assistance to the sales team by merchandising accounts to align with company standards.
  • Stocks, merchandises, and rotates products to ensure optimal inventory and presentation at each location.
  • Maintains regular communication with account staff, management, delivery teams, and sales representatives; promptly reports any issues within the designated timeframe.
  • Supports sales representatives by managing rebates and coupons within assigned accounts as needed.
  • Ensures premium product placement and strong brand presence across all accounts.
  • Builds displays, organizes shelving, installs signage, and safely uses ladders to enhance merchandising efforts.
  • Demonstrates flexibility with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
  • Adapts quickly to support a diverse range of internal teams and customer personalities on a daily basis.
  • Learns and covers multiple sales routes to provide seamless support when representatives are unavailable.
  • Conducts retail calls using a structured selling approach, managing inventory levels, positioning point-of-sale materials, and ensuring product rotation.
  • Introduces and promotes new brands and packaging to customers, contributing to sales growth.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining distribution from the sales team, making sure that everything has been addressed in the account before finalizing orders.
  • Entering Wine and Spirit orders when on coverage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective persuasion techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills-friendly, personable, and approachable.
  • Capable of collaborating and communicating effectively with all organizational levels, including sales, customer service, and delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with iPads and iOS operating systems is preferred.
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' sales experience in a related industry such as distribution, hospitality, supplier, or beverage is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current proof of insurance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required liquor sales permits.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
