Senior IT Project Manager - SAP Integrations (LIMS,MES) in Pharma

We're looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager specializing in SAP integrations to join our organization. In this strategic role, you will lead complex SAP implementation and integration projects, specifically focusing on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will drive project success through meticulous planning, analytical problem-solving, and decisive leadership while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead end-to-end SAP integration projects for LIMS and MES systems, managing scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful implementation
  • Analyze complex business processes and design optimized SAP integration solutions that enhance operational efficiency
  • Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring throughout project lifecycle
  • Ensure all implementations comply with FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and pharmaceutical industry best practices
  • Conduct stakeholder communication and manage expectations through regular status updates and executive reporting
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges with a detail-oriented, analytical approach
  • Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Document project deliverables, lessons learned, and best practices for organizational knowledge management
  • Manage system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) protocols
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience in IT project management, with demonstrated success leading enterprise-level initiatives
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP implementations and system integrations
  • 3+ years of specific experience with LIMS and/or MES integrations in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
  • Proven expertise in SAP configuration, customization, and module integration
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, including FDA compliance and GxP standards
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Waterfall
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and system architecture design
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential
