Job description

Job Purpose:

BTIG is seeking an experienced senior Project Manager to lead high-impact technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, oversee vendor and stakeholder coordination, and deliver executive-level reporting on project health and outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong project and stakeholder management skills with practical knowledge of production technology, including networking basics, infrastructure, and system environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex technology projects from planning through production.
  • Align business, technology, and vendor teams around priorities and decisions.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budgets, risk, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain portfolio-level visibility with dashboards and executive summaries.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft 365, including Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps), as well as generative AI for collaboration and reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring technology solutions align with business and technical standards.
  • Drive process improvement, reporting, and project documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience leading large-scale technology and operations projects in financial services.
  • 5+ years' Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of front, middle, and back-office financial operations and regulatory environments.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 suite, Power BI, JIRA/Confluence, and workflow automation tools.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, including generative AI, automation, and analytics solutions,
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Relevant certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • Experience with mergers, integrations, or large-scale transformation is a plus.

Compensation: 

  • BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
  • The current estimated base salary range for this role is $175,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
