Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Equipment Engineer to support pharmaceutical packaging operations by leading equipment projects, managing supplier relationships, and driving installation and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in packaging equipment engineering, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement packaging equipment solutions in collaboration with equipment suppliers.
  • Serve as the Owner's Representative, managing suppliers throughout equipment design, build, testing, and delivery.
  • Lead installation, startup, commissioning, and qualification of new packaging equipment.
  • Support site efficiency and continuous improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot packaging equipment issues and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging equipment engineering.
  • Proven experience with equipment installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and startup activities.
  • Strong background in supplier management and equipment project execution.
  • Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment and conducting root cause investigations.
  • Excellent communication, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
