About the Role

The Manager, Software Engineering plays a key leadership role in XiFin’s growing engineering organization, leading teams that design, build, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. This individual will drive technical excellence and foster collaboration across our onshore and offshore teams while ensuring the reliability and innovation of our SaaS‑based healthcare technology platforms.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a proven track record of building high‑performing teams, scaling cloud-based systems, and delivering enterprise‑grade software products. You will balance strategic vision with hands‑on technical leadership, influencing architecture, process improvements, and talent development.

This is an onsite position at our office in Dallas, TX.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
  • Approximately 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 2+ years in people leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading offshore and onshore teams in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and deploy SaaS and cloud‑based systems at scale.
  • Strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management, backlog prioritization, and release execution.
  • Hands‑on technical expertise to guide and review team deliverables in design, coding, and testing.
  • Prior experience in healthcare technology or medical device industries preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise Experience in developing responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) using modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and web services development.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in automated testing, unit testing, and test‑driven development (TDD).
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability prevention in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is: $141,250- $175,500.

Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
